For over a decade Carrie has worked in education to support students to find their best-fit college. She strives to cultivate each student's unique talents and passions, decrease anxiety and help students feel at ease about the entire process. Having worked in high schools for seven years, Carrie understands the importance of effective college counseling and sees the counselor role as one of the most crucial pieces of the student support puzzle.
Carrie holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, an M.A. in Counseling from the University of San Francisco, and a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA. In addition to working as a high school counselor, Carrie spent two years in admissions for UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz and most recently spent time living abroad in Florence Italy with her family.
A Bay Area native, Carrie is now based in Lafayette, California where she loves spending time with her husband and their two young sons. Aside from college counseling, Carrie loves traveling, baking, keeping her vegetable garden alive, and enjoying California's sunshine.
