Amy Mueller holds a Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in American Literature and Culture. She taught Advanced Placement English Language, American Literature, and College Readiness for ten years in Los Angeles. She has been coaching students for twenty years.
She believes the most authentic and competitive writing portfolios develop from an interactive mentor-student relationship. Her priority is to consistently meet with students to establish a supportive rapport that fosters open communication. Behind the scenes, she offers prompt, constructive, and thoughtful feedback. She believes that every student has an impactful story to tell and takes great pride in guiding them as they develop their unique perspectives and narratives.
Amy is based out of Southern California. She is a teacher for her local school district and works at a local studio, where she teaches ballet, jazz, and contemporary/modern dance.
