Jenn grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she found an early passion for teaching through being a swim lesson instructor. She combined her love for teaching and education by tutoring students during her college career at Utah State University. She tutored for the Educational Opportunities Program and helped students from different backgrounds succeed in achieving their academic goals. She's mentored numerous students in her role at ESM with test prep, math, psychology, chemistry, and biology, and has helped them succeed in reaching their goals and becoming lifelong learners.

Having been supported by incredible mentors herself, Jenn knows the value of a strong mentor-mentee relationship. She strives to build meaningful relationships with her students to help them build confidence in pursuing their goals in and out of the classroom. She is dedicated to helping her students utilize their strengths to achieve their ambitions and become engaged learners. She creates a fun and safe environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn during the process.

In her free time Jenn loves to immerse herself outdoors by climbing, biking, skiing, or hiking. She also has a major sweet tooth and can be found baking lots of yummy desserts.
