Jenn grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she found an early passion for teaching through being a swim lesson instructor. She combined her love for teaching and education by tutoring students during her college career at Utah State University. She tutored for the Educational Opportunities Program and helped students from different backgrounds succeed in achieving their academic goals. She also tutored high school students in the community in a variety of subjects. Jenn is a strong believer that a mentoring relationship is more than just helping students excel in their academic endeavors, but being a support for students and helping them grow and realize their potential. Jenn specializes in mentoring students with test prep, math, chemistry, biology, and psychology.

Having been supported by incredible mentors herself, Jenn knows the value of a strong mentor-mentee relationship. She strives to build meaningful relationships with her students to help them build confidence in pursuing their goals in and out of the classroom. She is dedicated to helping her students utilize their strengths to achieve their ambitions and become engaged learners. Her passion for helping students thrive and realize their potential has led her to also work as an undergraduate research advisor with the University of Vermont where she provides personalized advising to help students succeed in undergraduate research and apply for national fellowships.

In her free time Jenn loves to immerse herself outdoors by climbing, skiing, or hiking. She also has a major sweet tooth and can be found baking lots of yummy desserts.
