David Koss has been providing test prep, academic support, and college mentoring to K-12 students in the Bay Area since 2008. He has tutored and academically mentored students from some of the Bay Area’s top private and public schools including Bay School of SF, St. Ignatius, Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton), Lowell High, as well as other U.S. cities (remotely). He has been a one-on-one tutor, small group instructor, workshop facilitator, and college counselor.
David enjoys helping each student live up to their full potential and excels in developing a personalized learning program that will focus on the specific needs and growth of each student.
David also believes in helping the under-served youth in the community and has partnered with SF and Oakland Unified School Districts and organizations such as Oakland Lacrosse Club, Boys and Girl Club, First Graduate, and Aspire Education to deliver high quality instruction and academic support.
David is bilingual (Spanish) and began his test prep experience working for The Princeton Review teaching the SAT to American and international students while living in Madrid, Spain. His breadth of coverage ranges from all levels of test prep (HSPT, SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT) to academic support including AP exams (English Comp, Spanish).
