College Counseling

Camille Nix comes to us with over two decades of experience in the world of public education — as a high school English teacher, a high school counselor, and most recently as a college counselor. Her most recent position allowed her to work through the admissions process with upwards of 450+ students each year, navigating a wide variety of strengths, academic pursuits, and goals. She was able to work with over 200 college admissions representatives in her role as college counselor, learning the data-based evidence necessary to support students in presenting the best version of themselves to universities around the world. Camille’s connections with admissions representatives around the world allow her to have unique insights with universities, making the college list for each student truly individualized. Camille’s unique experience as a teacher, counselor, and then college counselor give her deep insight and depth when building the perfect four-year plan, navigating community service and activities that make sense and build each student’s resume, providing proven results as evidenced by the thousands of students she’s worked with who are now successful, happy college students, or even better, working adults making an impact on the world.
Camille Nix enjoys building relationships with students that both empower and encourage them to own the overwhelming beast of college admissions. With her past life as an English teacher, she loves the creative process in showcasing student stories and talents through the essays, supplemental writings, and resume. She takes pride in taking the stress out of the application process by breaking it down into manageable steps and celebrating the success of each step! Camille works hard to ensure that students’ college lists and choice of major reflect their desires and interests. She has a keen knack for helping students choose the final, perfect spot. Camille will be your biggest cheerleader.
