Sara has worked closely with high school students and their families, guiding them on the college admission journey, for over a decade. She began her career as a high school English teacher, teaching grades 9-12 and AP courses at a college preparatory school in Los Angeles. Her own college experience was transformative and profound, and she is passionate about helping her students have the same – both academically, and in a school community that allows them to thrive and blossom.

It is important to Sara to guide her students through the college application process with as little anxiety and as much support as possible. She loves the partnership that develops as a counselor, working alongside her students to help them articulate and achieve their goals.

Sara holds a B.A. in Literature from Scripps College, a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Walden University, and her Certification in College Counseling from UCLA. As a resident of Los Angeles, Sara loves spending time outdoors with her two young sons, husband, and dog. Aside from her work, Sara loves reading, traveling, and cooking – especially baking.
