Originally from Houston, Texas, Mary Shannon is an experienced and knowledgable tutor based in London. She has worked with students aged 5 to 18 across a wide range of subjects, including maths, science, English, French, and preparation for US standardised exams. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 2022 with a degree in International Relations, and earned her Master’s degree in Art History from University College London in 2023, graduating with distinction.

Her approach centres on building strong foundations of confidence and subject knowledge, equipping students with the skills they need to succeed not only in their current studies but also throughout their academic journey — particularly as they progress to university-level learning.
