Jack is an Academic Mentor and an Essay Coach at ESM Prep. As a mentor, he specializes in providing academic support and SAT/ACT test preparation to high school students nationwide. His tutoring approach focuses on blending content mastery with strategic thinking, ensuring students not only grasp the material but also develop the skills necessary for long-term success. Subject-wise, Jack focuses on Economics, English, and History. As a college essay coach, he uses his background in screenwriting to help students develop compelling personal stories that readers will remember.

A Stanford University alumnus, Jack graduated with a B.A. in Economics. During his time at Stanford, he worked for the admissions department, leading tours and hosting informational sessions for over 5,000 high school students. Jack also coached local high school debate teams while in college, as he was a successful high school debater himself. Leading tours and coaching debaters gave Jack valuable insights into the worries and aspirations of high school students.

Jack particularly values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his students, supporting them through challenges and celebrating their successes along the way. For him, tutoring isn't just about improving grades or test scores, it's about fostering a love for learning and helping students discover their own potential.

For fun, Jack plays tennis, cooks new dishes, goes to the movies, and writes about himself in the third person!
