Erin is no stranger to exploring creativity through the written word. During her first year at Denison University, she found her fingers dancing across her computer keys more than they had her entire high school career. Four years later, she graduated cum laude with B.A. degrees in Theater and English Literature. Her hard work paid off: she was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honors society, and Phi Society, which recognized university wide academic excellence. Fortunately, her passion turned into a paycheck (and still pinches herself every day she does what she loves for a living). Erin has workshopped her writing at The Second City and the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater. She writes scripts, screenplays, novels, and poetry.

While falling in love with the English department, Erin entertained an unexpected suitor. Education became her second love, and she began her journey as a teacher. In addition to college essay coaching, she enjoys providing academic mentorship, specifically sharing her love of English or history with her students. Whether she is teaching preschoolers or college students, her philosophy remains the same: tailoring her teaching to an individual student's needs, no matter if they are taking an AP exam or writing a personal statement.

During the pandemic, Erin worked at the Venetian Resort as a singer and gondolier. She never expected to put “gondola driver” on her resume, but it has proven to be a great ice breaker! When Erin is not teaching or writing, she is usually on stage or on film. Sometimes, she will even brave an open mic or improv set. She spends lots of time at the beach, reading, or traveling with her partner, Jackson.
