“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself."

John Dewey

Erik realized from an early age the empowerment education could instill in students who otherwise may feel lost. He began tutoring in high school as a hobby, but not long after, it transformed into a moral duty to remove educational boundaries for others.

Erik has been teaching and tutoring consistently ever since. Even through various research positions at universities and software development jobs, Erik is always heavily drawn back to the fulfillment he finds in education.

Having studied computer science at Cornell University, Erik has experience teaching a myriad of STEM-based subjects like computer science, physics, and math (up to advanced calculus). Similarly, Erik enjoys working with students in other topics like ACT/SAT prep and executive functioning. Above all, Erik's focus is always on long-term mentorship. He strives to build strong relationships with all of his students to ensure that he can guide them toward their most genuine goals.

In his free time, Erik loves spending time outdoors and hiking. He is very committed to health and fitness, and he is a certified personal trainer!
