Born and raised in New York, Bill has a BA in literature from Columbia University and an MFA in filmmaking from Columbia’s School of the Arts. He has written numerous award-winning short films, feature screenplays, and TV pilots. Aside from art, his primary intellectual passions have always been history and philosophy, and he spends most of his free time reading both.

He has tutored both American History and World History for over 10 years, as well as the ACT, SAT, various academic subjects, writing, and study skills. He has also guided students successfully through the college admissions process.
